Causes and effects

 Hello, hope everything is going fine. This time I am going to share more about composition.

I the last class we learned that when we are writing about something, we can focus in the causes or in the effects. 

In this type of composition we are going to use a thesis statement. This is going to help our composition giving it more strength in the introduction. We need to take care on the words we are going to select for it. 

In the first practice of the third register we are only are going to create the mapping with our ideas and the outline. There is no going to be a final composition.

My topic for focusing on causes is:

  Common reasons people get divorced around the world. 

 For this practice we can still using a Venn Diagram or a mapping. I used a mapping.


Introduction:

Thesis statement :

There are a lot of couples getting married around the world but also there are couples getting divorced for different reasons.

 

P1. Betrayal.

People realize they like other person and betrayal the couple.

P2. Lies.

People start laying on their couples to do activities.

 

P3. Differences of opinions

Some times they realize they think different when married.

 

P4. Lack of love.

People start to feel the love disappear in the relationship.

 

P5. Man requests.

In some countries the man is the one that can request the divorce for many reasons.

 

P6. Home violence.

When there is abuse for part of some member of the family.


My topic for focusing on effects is: 

 When you smoke the baby does, too.

  

 

Introduction:

Thesis statement:

When women are pregnant need to care they health, so they care the babies health, too.

 

P1. Infant death.

Many children die  around the world because toxic substances.

 

P2. Low birthweight.

Children lack of good health when birth.

 

P3. Premature childbirth.

Child can birth before the 40 weeks of the pregnancy period.
