Class #3 

This time I am going to be sharing with you information a about my class #3. The topic was really interesting, it is "Propaganda."

We learn that propaganda is a technique or strategy companies use to manipulate people's minds, making them to accept or approve a product, attitudes, thoughts, and so on. 

There are thee types of persuasive propaganda:

1. Bandwagon appeal: it persuade the reader to do, think or buy because it is popular. E.g.: the reversible octopus/ happy mad octopus. Everyone wanted a reversible octopus. 














 



2. Emotional appeal: use the emotions to keep away the reader from his/her logic or reason, and keep them emotional appel about the cause. E.g.: this propaganda was used in the first world war. They used the "man's best friend" to persuade men to enlist in the military corps in the first world war. I think men were persuaded due to they were feeling guilty.


3. Testimonial attempts: used to persuade the reader by using a famous person, group, or influencers, and make him/her to buy the product or accepting new rules. E.g.: Sedal by Yuya.
 Yuya was offering the product to the readers, persuading us to buy it.


Our weekly task consists of watching  the video Healthy productivity habits.  And choose two tips/ habits are useful, also we need  to write 3 paragraphs using the prewriting technique. 

So, here is my composition:
 

Having productivity habits to succeed in life.


Having productivity habits is important in people’s life, but not everyone applies them. Personally I consider it is important, I work, study and I have church activities, so I need to know how to handle my time that’s why I have been practicing some habits. It is difficult for my job’s needs a lot of my time , but I want to achieve my goals. The video was really interesting, all the tips the girl on the video sad are useful. I have practiced two of them and I consider their work for me.

The first tip is “Creating a list”. To create a list of your daily activities can help you to manage your time, so, you will be able to do all the activities neatly and on time. I consider myself a person who gets stressed out a lot, I think if I do not have a list I can sink like the Titanic, I feel really bad, and to be honest some times even with the list I do not finish all my  activities but I try my best. So, creating list helps me a bit.

On the other hand “Taking break”. It is super important to recharge yourself and taking a break from your activities (work, studies) helps a lot. To disconnect from social media helps, too. In your break you can practice your favorite sports or just going for a walk alone or with someone. For me this tip is difficult to take it because my schedule is full almost always, but I try to do it twice a month, it helps me, I prefer to connect with nature. Also to take a break helps you to organize your thoughts, feelings, and to get ideas to succeed in life.
