Class #4

In class #4 we learned about Persuasive writing based on film reviews.  We use the persuasive writing to share our point of view with others; we want the readers to agree with our opinions.

So we learned how to write films reviews correctly to persuade our readers attention. There is a rule of movies reviews "don't give too much away, don't ruin  the movie." Other thing is you need to give your original opinion about the plot.

To write your opinion you can use these tips:

  1. Start with a completing fact or opinion on the muvie.
  2. Give a clear, well-established opinion early on.
  3. Write your review.
  4. Bring your review full-circle in the ending.
Here you have some Useful phrases for movies reviews.

- This week we had our first evaluation.

We worked on a movie review.

My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend.

I really love to watch movies in my free time, to be specific I enjoy romantic movies. One day I was looking for a movie and suddenly I saw a little that caught my attention “ My girlfriend’s boyfriend” this is a romantic movie but also has suspense in it. It catch your attention from the first minute and keep you on seat till finish.

My girlfriend boyfriend is a movie that was written and directed by Daryn Tufts, produced by Rick McFarland and Alyssa Milano, good edited by Rick McFarland, Jenirae Reynols and Ethan Vincent. Also was performed by an incredible cast formed by Alissa Milano, Christopher Gorham, and Michael Landes. Realised on May 1st 2010. This movie is about Ethan Reed (Christopher Gorham) a struggling writer that arrives at his girlfriend’s department to declare his deep lover to her, but his girlfriend’s friend tells to Ethan that she is in the airport, that’s why he goes to the airport and look around for his girlfriend everything looks like she is gone but she is not. The Ethan sees his girlfriend and starts to declare his love to her. Love always wins. Ok, it does not!  This scene is the ending of Ethan's novel, that hi is presenting to Barbara (Carol Kane) his agent and she tells to Ethan that it is not a good novel  it is “ unrealistic” and that it is not going to be published.  It started with and ending, it really got me!

Then Ethan goes to a caf茅 where he meets a waitress, who is Jesse (Alyssa Milano) Ethan is instantly conquered with her kind and friendly personality. He ask for her phone number because he wants to go on a date with her and she gives it to him. Some minutes after that Ethan leaves the caf茅, and an elegant and handsome man enters to the cafe and he is conquered with Jesse’s kind and friendly personality, too. So he ask for her phone number. Jessy kindly gives it to him. Crazy, right!

Jesse falls in love with both men, she goes on dates with both in different times. Ethan and Troy have a lot of in common but there are some differences, one of them is that Ethan is not the manor born like Troy. The other and more important difference you need to watch the movie to discover it.

Jesse inspires Ethan to continue writing also inspires Troy with an ad for his company . Jessy stars to look like the mad in this story. She does not know what to do with her secret. What do you think she will do? You need to watch the movie to discover the incredible end. I really recommend his movie to you.

Thanks for reading me.

Till next time!
