Hello there! Welcome back to my blog. Hope you are doing well! 馃尡 Class #3 This time I am going to be sharing with you information a about my class #3. The topic was really interesting, it is "Propaganda." We learn that propaganda is a technique or strategy companies use to manipulate people's minds, making them to accept or approve a product, attitudes, thoughts, and so on. There are thee types of persuasive propaganda: 1. Bandwagon appeal: it persuade the reader to do, think or buy because it is popular. E.g.: the reversible octopus/ happy mad octopus. Everyone wanted a reversible octopus. 2. Emotional appeal: use the emotions to keep away the reader from his/her logic or reason, and keep them emotional appel about the cause. E.g.: this propaganda was used in the first world war. They used the "man's best friend" to persuade men to enlist in the military corps in the first world war. I think men were persuaded due to they were feeling guilt...
